Shane Dzimian, LMSW (they/them/theirs)
Clinical Counselor
Bio
Shane is a licensed master social worker serving as a clinical counselor at Marist. Prior to joining ÈâÈ⴫ý, Shane worked in their home state of Connecticut at an intensive outpatient program serving adolescents with anxiety disorders. Most recently they enjoyed working within a private group practice setting after moving to the Hudson Valley in 2020. As a queer, nonbinary clinician, Shane understands the importance of providing a safe space for visibility, self-exploration, and inclusion. They strive to always understand clients within a greater context regarding systemic oppression, the family system, and one’s current life circumstances. Outside of work, Shane enjoys watching the Great British Bake-Off, spending time with their three cats, gasping at cute dogs that they see and listening to a healthy combination of Taylor Swift and murder podcasts.
